William L. 'Bill' Ridling

William L. Bill' Ridling, 78, of Prescott died Sunday, October 22, at his home.

Mr. Ridling was born June 28, 1922, in Prescott to Fred C. and Marie Blount Ridling. He was a cattle farmer, retired shop foremen of the Nevada County shop and former driller with the oil field industry. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, having received his 11-year perfect attendance pin for Sunday school just recently. He was an army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Fred C. Ridling Jr. and by one grandson, Dan Ridling.

Survivors include his wife of 58= years, Lela Faye Ridling of Prescott; two sons, Bill Ridling Jr. and Mike Ridling of Prescott; one daughter, Pat Harris of Hope; one sister, Vealetta Killabrew of Prescott, eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday, October 24, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott with Rev. Mike Taylor and Rev. Neal Ridling officiating. Burial was in Liberty Cemetery in Prescott under the direction of Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
