Webb Earns Premiums At State FairPublished Wednesday, October 25, 2000 in the Gurdon TimesThe junior livestock auction, an Arkansas State Fair event saluting outstanding junior livestock exhibitors, raised more than $142,000 in premiums Friday, October 13 at the State Fairgrounds. The premiums were awarded to 4-H Club and Future Farmers of America (FFA) members who showed champion market animals in events held earlier in the week at the Arkansas State Fair. Showing a hog, Ashley Webb of Gurdon was awarded a premium. Winner in the junior show was Reserve grand champion female, shown by Kellie McKinnon of Gurdon.
