Max Bridges was hurt by a cow in Willisville on Friday and was taken to a Texarkana hospital with a broken hip. His wife is Laura Waters Bridges, a teacher at Nevada Schools.

Earnestine Benefield of Hurst, Texas, formerly of Rosston, had lunch with Sue Bundy one day last week. Edna Kelly and LeVergne White of Rosston were also guests.

Our pastor resigned yesterday and will be moving to Shiloah Lamertine this week. He will return next Sunday night for a baptismal service. Timmy Potts united with our church Sunday morning. Remember the Wards in your prayers as they will surely be missed in Rosston.

The young people of our church enjoyed a hay ride at Jeff and Tara Carlton's Saturday night. They had a hot dog supper and report a good time.

Guests in church on Sunday were Charles and Jo Caldwell of Grand Prarie, Texas, and a lady and three men who I didn't meet, possible deer hunters in our vicinity.

Van O'Keefe was a guest of Valeria O'Keefe over the weekend.

Roscoe and I celebrated our 53rd anniversary Wednesday. Grandson Marty of Texarkana had lunch with us and we had steak supper at the Fish Nest in Prescott that night with son Jim. We have been doing some landscaping at his house this week.

Guests of Ila Carpenter on Wednesday were Donnie Rue Rademaker and a friend from Healy, Kan., Jo Ann Anders, was also a guest.

Paul and Dot Broussard were guests of Wayne and Tootsie McEnnis of Dallas the first part of the week and they spent the weekend in Lafayette, La., where they attended a family get together.

Jim, Mona and Sue Dixon and Elaine Cook attended the wedding of Jackie Dixon's daughter. Jim and Mona's grandson Bubba' gave her away. The wedding was Saturday at one of the Methodist churches in Texarkana and they report a beautiful one.

A.B. and Maxine Luck went to one of Maxine's doctors in Little Rock this week and she got a good report.

Roscoe and I, Tori Rocole and children, Kathryn and Joe Don, and Booie Williams attended the Memphis Flea Market in Benton on Saturday.

Odeal Dillard was brought from Texarkana on Monday to make her home at Pine Hope Nursing Home in Hope. This is located near the hospital. Go by and visit her or send a card. She will be missed in Rosston, especially at church and the beauty shop. I have done her hair for umpteen' years.

Ruth Vinson remains in St. Vincent Rehab in Texarkana. We plan to visit her tomorrow.

Have a good week and safe hunting to all the hunters.
