Lawrence Dale EllisSHACKELFORD FUNERAL HOMEPublished Wednesday, October 11, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune Lawrence Dale Ellis, 90, of Prescott died Thursday, October 5, 2000, in Prescott. Mr. Ellis was born November 7, 1909, in Sutton to Robert Gordon Ellis and Lola Purtle Ellis. He was a forest rancher and a member of Bluff Springs Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ara Dillard Ellis, and one son, Ralph Ellis. Survivors include his wife, Ethel Ellis of Prescott; two sons and daughters-in-law, Deral Dodie' and Mary Margaret Ellis of Laneburg and Robert and Gloria Ellis of Sutton; one daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Wayne Langston of Prescott; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one step great grandchild; and two step grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 7, at Bluff Springs Baptist Church with Arlis East and Ed Phillips officiating.
