Oleta W. McRae, 82, of Prescott died Wednesday, September 27, 2000.

Mrs. McRae was born July 28, 1918. She was an active member of Prescott society. She was a diligent supporter of Girl Scouts, garden club, bridge club, band boosters, local schools serving on the PTA as president, secretary of the Country Club, active member of First Presbyterian Church for 80 years. She served as an elder and nightly committed to Presbyterian Women, Presbytery of the Pines, Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Home and Family Services. She loved Razorback games and horse races.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Duncan McRae; one daughter, Mary Ellen McRae of Little Rock; adoptive children, which were nieces and nephews, Claudie Anne Hartness of Monticello and Susan Leedy, Van of Anaheim, Calif., Joel Culpepper of San Antonio, Texas, Duncan Culpepper of Prescott and Malcom Culpepper of Jonesboro and Van Culpepper of Yakima, Wash.

Funeral services were held at Shackelford Funeral Home Saturday, September 30, with Rev. Robin T. Nygaard officiating. Burial was in DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.
