Congratulations to Andy and Meranda Jackson. They have a new baby girl born Wednesday at Wadley Hospital in Texarkana. They named her Macy Renee. Lewis and Cindy Jackson are the happy grandparents and Margaret Jackson is the great grandmother.

Sympathy goes to the family of Douglas Waters of Patmos. He passed away this week. Charles Waters is his brother and Edna Purtle is his sister. Faye Black roomed with her at college.

Ruth Vinson came home from Magnolia Hospital one day and was taken to the Hope hospital the next day. She came home on Friday. Remember her in your prayers as she has some fractures in her spine.

Tommie Lew Jarvis was in the Hope hospital from Sunday until Thursday. They took her back to the hospital that same day and then she was taken by ambulance to St. Michael in Texarkana, where she had surgery Friday. She had a blockage caused by scar tissue. Her daughter Pat of Houston is with her. Her two brothers, Bob and Jack, and Jack's wife, Syble, and sister, Daisy, all of Stephens were there as well as granddaughter Terry of Nashville and grandson Ronnie of Houston. Roscoe and I sat with Pat a while late that afternoon. Bro. Petie and Laura visited with her Saturday.

Roscoe and I attended the fair in Hope for a while Sat. afternoon. We visited with Ruth Vinson on our way home.

Cindy Taylor and daughter Christy and Amy Morman attended the Hope fair Thursday night.
