Stephens Family Reunion Held

Descendants of John Page Stephens (1817-1895) gathered for a family reunion at the Western Sizzlin Restaurant in Hope Sunday, September 3.

Among those in attendance were: Ethelene Gray and Diana Goldberg of Malvern; Stephen Gray and Karen, Joe and Lacey Doss of Paris, Texas; Sabrina and Halie Melot of Blossom, Texas; Kathelene Blythe of Gurdon; Michael and Brandon Blythe of Hot Springs; Betty Hamby Bell, Irma Hamby Evans, Marjorie Evans-Westmoreland and Marjorie Myra Westmoreland of Houston, Texas; Susan Bell of Little Rock; Mark, Sara and Laura Hamby of Russellville; Ruth Hamby, Chris and Diane Hamby, with children Jennifer, Brittany, Brandie and Gary of Little Rock; Blake, Sherri and Alex Hamby of Benton; Holly Hamby and children, Jordan and Jessica Harris, of North Little Rock; Maurine Stephens and Mike Stephens of Blevins; Paul Stephens of Benton; John Henry III and Vicki Stephens of DesArc; Billie and Ed Flint of Shreveport, La.; Robert Stephens of Arkadelphia; Gayle and Marge Stephens of Springfield, Mo.; Chase R. Stephens of Leesburg, Va.; Mary Sue Adams of Camden; Barbara, Willie and David Young of West Memphis; and Grandison D. and Imogene Royston of Hope.

Lunching, visiting and show and tell presentations of family stories and pictures were enjoyed.

Following the reunion the Stephens House in Old Washington was open for tours by family members.
