School Menus: October 9-13Published Wednesday, October 4, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneMenus for the area schools for the week of October 9-10 are as follows. All meals are served with milk. They are also subject to change. Breakfast in Prescott Schools is served from 8:00 to 8:30 and lunch is served between 11:30 and 12:00. Prescott School District The McRae Middle School (MMS) and Prescott High School offer different bar selections for lunch. The bar selections are listed at the end of the lunch paragraphs. BREAKFAST MONDAY: Pop Tart, toast, juice and milk. TUESDAY: Bacon and biscuit, juice and milk. WEDNESDAY: pizza, juice and milk. THURSDAY: Cheese toast, juice and milk. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit, juice and milk. LUNCH MONDAY: Chicken nuggets with dip, mashed potatoes, sliced peaches and roll; PHS, hamburger bar. TUESDAY: Vegetable beef soup, grilled cheese sandwich, crackers and orange and cookie; MMS, salad bar; PHS, pizza bar. WEDNESDAY: Crispitoes, Mexican corn, cantaloupe and brownie; MMS, hot dog bar; PHS, chicken patty and fries bar. THURSDAY: Nachos, dry beans, pineapple and bananas and sopaipillas with honey; MMS, hamburger bar; PHS, pizza bar. FRIDAY: Fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, fresh fruit salad and roll; PHS, hamburger bar. Emmet School District BREAKFAST MONDAY: Cheese toast, ham slice and juice. TUESDAY: French toast stick with butter and syrup and juice. WEDNESDAY: Breakfast pizza jelly and juice. THURSDAY: Ham, toast with jelly and juice. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit and juice. LUNCH MONDAY: Hot dog with cheese, chips with cheese sauce, green beans, pineapple and brownie. TUESDAY: Chicken fried steak on bun, broccoli with cheese sauce, peaches, hot rolls with butter and jelly, vanilla pudding. WEDNESDAY: Chicken strips, baked potato, biscuits with butter and jelly, chocolate pudding and banana . THURSDAY: Pizza, salad bar, juice bar and peanut cup. FRIDAY: BLT or hamburger bar, French fries with catsup, grapes and peanut butter cookie. Nevada School District BREAKFAST MONDAY: Super doughnuts, juice and milk. TUESDAY: Cinnamon toast, applesauce and milk. WEDNESDAY: Pancake on a stick with syrup, juice and milk THURSDAY: Sausage biscuits, juice and milk. FRIDAY: Breakfast pizza, juice and milk. LUNCH MONDAY: Chicken nuggets with barbecue sauce, fries, peaches and wheat rolls. TUESDAY: Hot dogs, cole slaw, pork and beans and cookies. WEDNESDAY: Stromboli, candied sweet potatoes, pinto beans.
