College News - Allison Young

Allison Young was recently honored as the outstanding student at the Department of English and Foreign Languages of Southern Arkansas University at Magnolia.

Young is the daughter of Kenneth and Sherry Young of Rosston and a 1996 graduate of Nevada High School. She graduated cum laude from Southern Arkansas University at Magnolia August 11 with a bachelor of arts degree, majoring in English and minoring in history.

After her student teaching in the fall of 2000 she will receive a second degree, a bachelor of science in education with a major in English education.
