The officers and members of Bethel A.M.E. Church of Gurdon will celebrate their pastor Rev. Betty Gulley's second year. Appreciation services are to be held on Sun., Oct. 8, at 3:00 p.m. Special guests will be Unity A.M.E. Church of Magnolia, Rev. James Giles pastor and speaker. Everyone is welcome.

Sun., Oct. 8, at 2:30 p.m. an annual mission program will be held at St. Paul Baptist Church at Emmet. Special guests will be New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon, Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor and speaker. Everyone is welcome. Rev. William Corbert, pastor.

Harvest rally to be held Sat., Nov. 11, at 7:00 p.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church of Gurdon. Everyone is welcome. Special guests will be New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon with Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor and speaker. Rev. Betty Gulley pastor.

Mrs. Hazle Welch, her daughter Lois Ann Williams and two granddaughters visited her daughter, sister and Aunt Zandra Ann and husband in Memphis on Saturday.

Ms. Bessie Rogers underwent surgery and now is at home and doing fair.

Valorie Giles underwent surgery and is now at home and doing fair at this report.

Revival services are in session at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon Oct. 3-6 at 7:00 nightly. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Evangelist is Rev. T.J. Roberson, pastor of the St. Paul Baptist Church of Texarkana. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor.
