Contest Saturday At Sonic

Gurdon's Sonic Drive-In will have the Sonic Space Suit Showdown Saturday, October 7, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend.

Cabe Middle School students will participate in a costume contest, "Make Your Own Spacesuit!"

Prizes will be awarded in money for class supplies for the first through third place winners. First place winner will get $125 for the school; second place $75; and third place $50. Students placing will be awarded six passes to Mid-America Museum in Hot Springs.

Radio Disney personalities will judge the contest. Radio Disney will be featuring the Sonic Green Machine.

Those visiting Sonic Saturday may have a photo made of your child as an astronaut while supplies last, or you can take your own camera.

There will be a special surprise for Cabe Middle School. It's being kept a secret so you will have to see what it is. Along with the games and prizes a table of science/space information will be provided.
