Gurdon NHS Students Selected

Gurdon High School announced its new members of the National Honor Society (NHS) Thursday, September 26.

The National Honor Society is a nation-wide leadership organization. It purpose is to develop scholarship, service, leadership and character.

Membership in the NHS is considered to be one of the highest honors bestowed on a high school student. The members have to have obtained the following grade points to become part of this organization: sophomores 4.0, juniors 3.75 and seniors 3.75.

All members are selected and approved by the faculty committee chosen by the principal. The National Honor Society would like to congratulate the members, new members and officers.
