We extend our sympathy to the family of Erma Lou (Elmore). She passed away after a lengthy illness. Graveside services were Sunday afternoon at a Gurdon. Erma Lou grew up in our community. Delores Thomas of New Braunfield, Texas, spent Monday night with Willie and me. Herbie Ridgell had supper with us. Everett and Mary Orren spent Monday night with Fate House of Powderly, Texas. We received word last week of the death of our cousin, Inez Sullivan of Waldo. She has been with her daughter in Fort Worth for some time. She has several cousins around Prescott. Boletta and Terry Crabtree of Fort Worth spent a few days with her brother, Herbie Ridgell, and her daughter, Dodie Ridling, and her children. Willie and I enjoyed having Benny Walthall visit us recently. We also enjoyed Neil and Hazel Meeks being able to visit us a while Saturday night. Johnny Jo Brown and two grandchildren spent the weekend visiting her mother, Syble Brown, and also sister, Judy Allen and Ray, and brother, James Ray Brown and his family. Denise and Ricky Stubbs, Courtney and Theresa have returned from visiting Disney World in Florida. Sunday Denise, Ricky, Theresa, Courtney, Ricky's two boys, Darlene Young and Jimmy Joe Jester celebrating birthdays at the home of Pete and Cathryn Jester. Boletta and Terry Crabtree, Herbie Ridgell, Paul and Robbin Ridgell, Elizabeth and Robin Ridgell, Andrew and Alex, Jeff and Cherie Ridgell, Loretta and Josh, Dodie Ridling and children, and Kay Wren all had supper together Wednesday night at the home of Kay Wren.
