Caney NewsRUBY WICKERPublished Wednesday, September 27, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune Our county fair has come and gone. We really had fun. We had good participation. The kids enjoyed the carnival. Lots of kids won lots of prize money. Now we start preparing for next year. We hope you'll help. Maxine Glass, Lucy Glass, Ann Loe, Margie Reed and I worked Monday and Tuesday as volunteers at the county fair. Janice Callicott worked Monday putting up the C&C Extension Homemakers booth. We were happy our booth won a blue ribbon and Best of Show' award.
