Redland NewsHAZEL MEEKSPublished Wednesday, September 27, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune The Lord really smiled on us Monday. We sure had a nice rain. Lanell Nell Nash has returned home after spending a week with her sister, Laverne Masters, in Bismarck. Our nephew and his wife, Gary and Alice Meeks, from North Little Rock visited Neil and me on Wednesday. Billie and L.C. Gass from Chickasha, Okla., and Floyd Tom and Jackie Taylor from Wickenburg, Ariz., spent three weeks with their mother, Allene Taylor. Bob and Agnes Morrow visited Neil and me Friday night. Harvey Barham from Dallas spent the weekend at his home here. Kitty Sue and Dan Jarvis from Pine Bluff and Maudie Lee Cookey from Missouri visited their Aunts Allene Taylor and Marie Lowdermilk one day last week. Kitty Sue and Maudie Lee are the daughters of the late Beatrice and Floydy Rowe. Erica Burdue and her roommate from Central Baptist College spent the weekend with Erica's parents, John, Gina and Ryan Burdue. We welcome into our membership at Shady Grove Baptist Church, Randy and Charity Lowdermilk. Of course Caleb came along with mom and dad. Dustin Morrow attended a birthday party at the home of Zack Plunkett Friday night. Saturday night they attended a movie in Texarkana. Bob and Agnes Morrow are happy to have a newborn granddaughter, Kennedy Ann Page, born to Michael and Kelly Page on August 29 in St. Louis, Mo. Maria and Robert Morrow had dinner with their son, Bob, Agnes and boys on Thursday night. A group of Shady Grove young folks attended the youth rally at Bodcaw Sunday.
