School Menus: October 2-6Published Wednesday, September 27, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneMenus for the area schools for the week of October 2-6 are as follows. All meals are served with milk. They are also subject to change. Breakfast in Prescott Schools is served from 8:00 to 8:30 and lunch is served between 11:30 and 12:00. Prescott School District The McRae Middle School (MMS) and Prescott High School offer different bar selections for lunch. The bar selections are listed at the end of the lunch paragraphs. BREAKFAST MONDAY: Breakfast crispitoes juice and milk. TUESDAY: Bacon and biscuit, juice and milk. WEDNESDAY: Cinnamon roll, juice and milk. THURSDAY: Cereal, cinnamon toast, banana, juice and milk. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit, juice and milk. LUNCH MONDAY: Chicken tenders, mashed potatoes with gravy, apricots and roll; PHS, pizza bar. TUESDAY: Fritos pie, green beans, applesauce and cinnamon roll; MMS, salad bar; PHS, chicken patty and fries bar. WEDNESDAY: Hamburger on bun with lettuce, tomato and pickles, French fries with catsup and chocolate chip cookie; MMS, sandwich bar; PHS, pizza bar. THURSDAY: Pizza, tossed salad with dressing, apple slices with carmel sauce and sugar cookie; MMS, hamburger bar; PHS, hamburger and fries bar. FRIDAY: Chicken spaghetti, cream style corn, tossed salad with dressing and roll; PHS, pizza bar. Emmet School District BREAKFAST MONDAY: Toast, jelly, ham slice and juice. TUESDAY: French toast with jelly and juice. WEDNESDAY: Ham, toast with jelly and juice. THURSDAY: Breakfast pizza and juice. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit and juice. LUNCH MONDAY: Corn dog with mustard, baked beans, French fries with catsup and no bake chocolate cookie. TUESDAY: Hot ham and cheese sandwich or hamburger bar, nachos and cheese, turnip greens, chocolate cake square and peanut cup. WEDNESDAY: Fish sticks, tartar sauce, slaw, potato wedges with catsup, hush puppies and hot cherry cobbler. THURSDAY: Grilled chicken patty on bun with mozzarella cheese and lettuce, tomato and pickles, fried okra and apple crisp. FRIDAY: Pizza, salad bar, applesauce, chocolate chip cookie and peanut cup. Nevada School District Nevada School District did not supply the Picayune a copy of its menus by deadline. BREAKFAST MONDAY: Super doughnuts, assorted juice and milk. TUESDAY: Sausage biscuit, grape juice and milk. WEDNESDAY: Cheese toast, orange juice and milk THURSDAY: Breakfast pizza, fruit punch and milk. FRIDAY: Bacon and cheese biscuit, apple juice and milk. LUNCH MONDAY: Corn dog, cole slaw and fries. TUESDAY: Enchiladas, green beans, sliced tomato and fresh fruit. WEDNESDAY: Stromboli, ranch beans and mixed fruit. THURSDAY: Baked ham, scalloped potatoes, tossed salad and wheat rolls. FRIDAY: Cheeseburgers with lettuce, tomato, pickles and French fries.
