Roy C. Brown, 79, of Little Rock died Friday, September 22, 2000.

Mr. Brown was retired from Arkansas Employment Securities Division. He was a member of Parkway Place Presbyterian Church and a Mason. Mr. Brown was recipient of Two Purple Hearts and two Bronze Stars. He was a member of American Legion and the Arkansas State Employees Association.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel Brown of Little Rock; two sons, Mike and Kenneth Brown, both of Little Rock; three daughters, Gina Gentry of Little Rock, Charlotte Kinsey of McDonough, Ga. and Carolyn Morris of South Lake, Texas; two sisters, Reeda Evington of Arkadelphia and Edna Jennings of Palestine, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday, September 26, at Parkway Place Presbyterian Church in Little Rock with interment in Easley Cemetery near Gurdon by Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.
