Dedman Wins Super Pro Division At Prescott RacewayBY JOHN MILLERPublished Wednesday, September 27, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune There was plenty of action at the Prescott raceway Saturday, and when the smoke cleared Scotty Dedman had won the super pro division. Dedman, from Hot Springs, made the run at 133 miles per hour. His dial in time was 5.02 seconds, while his ET was exactly the same, 5.02. Dedman's reaction time was 0.510 seconds. Lonnie Cunningham of Greenbrier was the runner up with a run of 114 mph. His dial in time was 6.11, while his ET was 6.12. Cunningham's reaction time was 0.517. The other runner up was Ed Hine of Jacksonville. His best run of the meet was 139 mph. Hine's dial in time was 4.97, with an ET of 4.99. His reaction time was 0.491. In the no electronics class, Artie Green of Alexander captured the top spot. Green ran 84 mph, with a dial in of 7.68 and ET of 7.73. His reaction time was 0.578. Ervin "Snake" Blakely of Prescott was the runner up with a 90 mph run. His dial in was 7.54, while his ET was 7.55. Blakely's reaction time was 0.664.
