Club News - Rose Garden ClubPublished Wednesday, September 20, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Rose Garden Club met in the home of Ann Pounds for a potluck luncheon at 11:30 a.m. September 12 with Ann Foster as co-hostess. Following the delicious meal Penny Richards presided over the business session in the absence of the president. Plans were made for the fall flower show held Tuesday, September 19, at the fairgrounds. Ann Pounds distributed the new year books and plans were discussed for the new year. Bonnie Honeycutt was accepted as a new member of the club. Penny Richards presented a most interesting program on Garden Art.' She suggested many useful ideas on ornamentation of your garden, such as statutes, trellises, bird baths, bird houses, driftwood, etc., and told how to use them.
