Mason To Speak To Local Youth Group

Thursday, September 21, Boys to Men and Girls to Women Coalition (BM-GW) of Prescott will present a consumer credit report at Munn's Chapel Church in Prescott. The program will start at 6:30 p.m. and will end around 8:00, including refreshments after the program.

Some of the issues to be discussed will be credit advances and marketing to youth; the overall impact of our lives as a result of consumer credit; the problems of over extending credit; access to credit cards and how they should be used; solutions to some of the problems created by credit cards; and credit effect all people.

The guest speaker for the conference will be Norman Mason, director of Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Hot Springs.

If you have concerns about your child's use of credit cards, establishing financial guidelines and how to handle day-to-day finances, you and your child need to be at this meeting.

All mentees and mentors are expected to be there. Parents, guardians and all guests are especially invited.
