What lovely, nice and cool weather we are having.

Bro. John Force preached for us on Sunday. Bro. Tom was present, but he didn't feel up to preaching. We have several different ones lined up for a few weeks to see how Bro. Tom improves.

Chris Butler from Ft. Sill, Okla., was home this week. He hadn't been home in some time as he had been on maneuvers in California. He also went on to Cabot to see the rest of the family.

David and Peggy Butler took Chris and Chad to a ball game in Little Rock on Saturday.

Mary Poindexter was able to be in church on Sunday morning.

I guess we need more birthdays: J.D. Allen and Jan Allen on the 15th; Joe Bob Dorman on 18th; Gary Don Dorman on 25th and LaNora Hooker on the 28th.

On Sunday night the youth served the grandparents cake and punch. They did the serving and seemed to enjoy it.

Russ and Marilyn Carlton and Lola and Jude Allen attended the gospel singing at the Nevada County Fairgrounds at Prescott on Sunday. The fair is in progress this week.

Little Haylee Thomas spent the weekend with grandparents, Curtis and Mary Anna Dorman.
