Annual homecoming of the Cana African Methodist Episcopal Church was held Sunday, September 17, with Rev. Bobby Box guest minister. He is the pastor at Harrison Chapel Baptist Church. His choir was there as guests. His text was Go Home and Tell' not to forget the Lord. He really did preach good and his choir really did sing good. We really did have a good time. We missed Bro. DeWillie Gulley. There was a lot of people there at homecoming and plenty of food.

My granddaughter, Samona Kendrick, from Nashville spent the weekend with me. She is Hosea's daughter; she is a very smart girl.

We are having budget due Saturday night. All chairs are invited to come. The pastor is asking all members to pay $50. Our annual conference is just around the corner.

A revival under the tent began Monday at Washington Temple #2 COGIC in Rosston. It will continue through September 22 at 7:30 nightly. Elder David D. Wright is the evangelist. Terry T. Johnson is the assistant pastor.
