Sunday, October 1, at 2:30 p.m. at Eastern Star Baptist Church in Smithton there will be a Rainbow Usher Board program. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Sis. Hattie Locks, president. Rev. Marshall Allen, pastor. Guest speaker's name will be in next week's report.

Back-to-school revival will be held Sept. 19, 20 and 21 at 7:00 nightly by Smith and Trotter (both 14 years old) and Pastor Quintin Radford preaching at St. Clair Baptist Church of Burtsell. Rev. L.B. Beard, pastor. Everyone and all churches are welcome.

September 24 at 11:00 a.m. New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon will be hosting special guests at St. Paul Baptist Church in Texarkana, Rev. Quintin Radford, speaker, Rev. T.J. Roberson, pastor. Vans will leave at 9:00 a.m.

St. Paul A.M.E. Inspirational Choir anniversary will be Sept. 23 at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 24, at 3:30 p.m. at St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Arkadelphia. Everyone and all churches welcome. Mrs. Annie Tate, president, Rev. Charlie Thomas, pastor.

Sunday, Oct. 1, the annual youth day will be held at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Warren at 4:30 p.m. Special guests will be New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon, Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor and speaker. Everyone is welcome.

Revival services will be held at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon October 2-6 at 7:00 nightly. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Evangelist of the week will be Rev. T.J. Roberson, pastor of the St. Paul Baptist Church of Texarkana. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor.

Sunday, Oct. 8, at 2:30 p.m. an annual mission program will be held at St. Paul Baptist Church of Emmet. Special guests will be New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon, Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor and speaker. Everyone is welcome. Rev. William Colbert, pastor.

Annie Mae Phifer of Phoenix, Ariz., and Lonnie Quarles and friend of Plaino, Texas, visited their mother, Mrs. Birdie Quarles, of Smithton community.

Also visiting Mrs. Quarles were Lula Mae Carole and Mary Williams, both of Malvern, Lawrence Green of Camden and John E. Marsh.

During their visit they attended the Leaks, Vernell, Johnson and Quarles family reunion held Sept. 2 in Rosston.

Others visiting were remaining family members, who included Mr. and Mrs. Herman Quarles, Bonnie and Johnny C. Ross and family, Mildred Anderson and family, the late Louisa Young's family, other relatives and friends in Gurdon and surrounding areas.

They visited Mrs. Ruby Allen of Curtis. During their stay they attended Mt. Vernon Church in Rosston, where all the events were held.
