Golden OldiesBY DORIS VANCEPublished Wednesday, September 20, 2000 in the Gurdon Times We enjoyed having the Arkadelphia center at the Gurdon Senior Adult Center last week. Their building was closed, because of the fair. A group from the Gurdon Center sang at Twin Rivers Rehab last Tuesday. Lloyd Baumgardner sang for us on Wednesday. Some center seniors visited the Glenwood center Thursday and a group went to the fair on Friday. So we had a busy week. The Cover Girls are quilting. There aren't very many of us now, but we get the job done. I know of at least one more quilt that we need to do. This week we will play bingo, hold council meeting, sing and go shopping. Martha Bearden and Sharon Heard are both doing a fantastic job. We appreciate them very much. I know everyone is enjoying this cooler weather.
