Billie Ann and L.C. Gass from Chicksha, Okla., spent several days with her mother, Allene Taylor. Darren and Kristi Neal honored their two-year-old daughter with a birthday party at their home Sunday at 6 p.m.. About 25 family and friends attended, the most special were her grandparents, Bud and Peggy Rodel from Jonesboro and Jerry and Rhonda Hillery. Betty Meeks Wilson from Hot Springs Village spent Saturday night with her daughter and her family, Charity, Randy, and Caleb Lowdermilk. She also visited Neal and me. Wilma Compton honored her daughter, Linda Ghormley, with a family birthday dinner Sunday. Kay Hendricks and family attended. Also the honoree, Linda, and her family attended. Jerry, Rhonda, Justin and Cole Hillery attended a state horse show in Little Rock Labor Day. Asie and Pat Ingersoll were visiting sick folks and friends Sunday. They visited Wilma Compton and Neil and me. I received a real nice letter from Frances Bidwell who now lives in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, and misses all her friends her. Please take time to write her.
