Wiley Joins Jazz Group At UCA

Cameron Wiley, a 2000 honor graduate of Prescott High School, now a first semester freshman at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway (UCA), has been chosen as a member of the UCA first band jazz ensemble. This ensemble will accompany the legendary blues' recording artist Ray Charles in concert Friday evening, September 15, at the Donald W. Reynolds Performance Hall on the university campus.

Wiley played trombone in the Prescott High School band and as an All-State jazz band member.

The ensemble has also been selected to perform at the Governor's Conference to be held in Little Rock September 25.

Wiley is the son of Sam and Kathryn Wiley.
