Moms In Touch To MeetPublished Wednesday, September 13, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe vision of Moms In Touch International is to have an MIT group for every school in the United States and around the world by year 2003. The group has been active in Prescott the last three years. The local group meets on Tuesdays at 1:45 p.m. at First Baptist Church to pray for one hour. Moms In Touch is: where two or more moms meet for one hour each week to pray for their children, the school, teachers and staff; for mothers, grandmothers, an aunt or friend who is willing to pray for a specific child and school; praying for all students, preschool through college; for moms of public school, private school and home school students; and an opportunity for spiritual growth and learning to pray. Each individual church is urged by the group to begin its own moms in touch groups from within their women's ministries. Any woman who would like to get together with another woman to pray may contact Beth Ward at 870-887-6376. Search | Nevada County Picayune by date | Gurdon Times by date |
