Golden Anniversary Celebration Planned

The Bolls children and grandchildren are hosting an open house and party to celebrate 50 years of marriage for their parents, Joe and Liz Bolls, on Saturday, September 16, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. in the afternoon.

Joseph H. and Elizabeth Harley Bolls were married September 15, 1950. Joe graduated from Camden High School in June 1950. Liz graduated from Harmony Grove High School in May 1950.

Their children include Joseph H. (Hal) Bolls Jr., of Fayetteville; Veda S. Guthrie of Laneburg; Debra E. (Deb) Roper of Lafayette, La., and Thomas S. (Stan) Bolls of Dallas, Texas, and his wife, Kathy Rodden Bolls.

Grandchildren include  Hal's: Christopher Bolls and wife Angela, Jason, Shaun and Noah Bolls; Veda's: Amanda Montgomery Meador and husband Shane, Adrian Guthrie and Jeffery Guthrie; Deb's: Jonathan D. Roper, deceased; and Stan's: Hanna Grace Bolls.

Their great grandchildren are Chris: Matthew and Zachary Taylor Bolls.

Joe and Liz are currently living in their family home in Laneburg. He is retired from Western Electric Co. a subsidiary of AT&T/Lucent Technologies. They are members of New Salem Methodist Church in Laneburg.

Joe is an active master mason in Prescott Lodge 80. He is also a 32nd degree and active member of the Scottish Right Consistory of Little Rock.

All friends and acquaintances are invited to the celebration to offer their congratulations and fellowship.
