Lee Eunice Cole, 85, died Friday, September 1, 2000, at Beverly Health and Rehab in Prescott.

Mrs. Cole was born September 12, 1914, in Nevada County to the late Lillie Fischer and Charlie Alexander. She married the late John B. Cole and to this union two sons were born. One son, Johnny L. Cole, preceded both parents in death. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Munn's Chapel Baptist Church. She served on the usher board and also served as a kitchen helper during vacation Bible school.

She leaves to cherish her memories one son, James E. Cole of Prescott; one daughter-in-law, Verdia Cole of Prescott; two brothers, Elmer (Erma) Alexander of Rockford, Ill., and Jake (Bulia) Alexander of Las Vegas, Nev.; four sisters, Vira Jean (Early) Martin of Rosston, Belandis Box Easter of Chicago, Ill., Essie Mae Sockwell of Dallas, Texas, and Melvinia (Samuel) Mixon of Atwater, Calif.; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services were Friday, September 8, at Munn's Chapel Baptist Church in Prescott with Rev. Arthur Hill, and Rev. Henry L. Bell officiating. Burial was in New Salem Cemetery under the direction of Hicks Funeral Home of Hope.
