Two Motorcyle Accidents Injures Two Within Two HoursPHOTO BY RICKY RAGSDALEPublished Wednesday, September 13, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENTS - Prescott Police Assistant Chief Jim Stuart takes information from two witnesses after the first of two accidents involving the same motorcycle less than two hours apart. The accidents occurred Monday, September 11, at 6:30 p.m. on Highway 19 North in the curve between downtown Prescott and Exit 46 on Interstate 30. Injured was 27-year-old Charles Chuck Hartley of Prescott. The second accident occurred less than two hours later when his brother, 25-year-old Dallas Hartley, wrecked the same Suzuki on Highway 19 North about two blocks past Mama Maxs Diner, less than a quarter of a mile from the first accident. Officials say the motorcycle did not have license plates, there was no proof of insurance and one of the brothers apparently was operating the bike on a suspended drivers license.
