Harvey, Hines Wed At Central Baptist ChurchPublished Wednesday, September 6, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe wedding of Kelly Camille Harvey and Kiley Ray Hines took place at Central Baptist Church in Prescott August 12 at 7 p.m. The sanctuary was decorated with twin toparies covered in red, pink and cream roses and ivy set in Italian urns. Two candelabras with 15 tapers each were decorated with greenery and red roses. Ferns were set at the base of each candelabra. White bows with red roses and greenery marked the pews. Special music included To Make You Feel My Love by Garth Brooks, When You Love Someone by Bryan Adams, Etude by Chopin, Largo from Handel's Xerxes, Breathe by Faith Hill and Canon by Pachelbel. Rev. Chad Brandon officiated at the wedding ceremony. As the bride wished, her father and mother escorted her down the aisle to the music of Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin by Wagner. The bride was beautiful in a sleeveless gown of white Italian satin with a chapel length train. The bustier had a deep crescent neckline and back. It was accented with floral and vine embroidery embellished with pearls and bugle beads. Satin buttons extended down the back to the dropped waist skirt with box pleats. A tiara of rhinestones and pearls held up the bride's curls with an illusion veil attached. The bride wore a pearl necklace borrowed from her mother. Rhinestone and pearl bow earrings were a present from her maternal grandparents. Her bouquet was two dozen roses of red, cream and pink. Bridesmaids were Misti Harvey, sister-in-law of the bride, from Conway, Tina Ives, fiancee of Ryan Harvey, brother of the bride, from Stuttgart and Lesley Hines, sister of the groom, of Austin, Texas. The bridesmaids wore full length, fitted, strapless gowns of crimson satin. They carried a bouquet of red roses. Rhinestone and garnet necklaces and earrings were gifts of the bride. Cameron Hines served as best man to his brother, the groom. Ryan Harvey of Maumelle and Todd Harvey of Conway, brothers of the bride, and Josh Russell of San Diego, Calif., cousin of the bride, were groomsmen. The groom and his attendants wore the traditional black vested tuxedos. Flower girls Kayla Hines, daughter of the groom, and Allie Harvey of Conway, niece of the bride, were adorable in full length white satin princess gowns with pearls and crystals circling an empire waistline. Pearl Tiaras topped their curls. Their white satin flower baskets were filled with red rose petals. Ring bearer Bentley Harvey of Conway, nephew of the bride, was handsome in his black tuxedo. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Andrews and Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Harvey of Prescott. Parents of the groom are Brenda Hines of Hope and Mrs. and Mrs. Billy R. Hines of Prescott. The mother of the bride wore a pink full length fitted dress and bolero jacket covered in floral embroidery. The mother of the groom wore a blue full length dress and short jacket. The maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Robert O. Russell and Mrs. Frances Harvey and the late James (Dick) Harvey. The paternal grandparents are Mrs. Charlene Wicker and the late Derris Wicker and the late Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Hines all of Prescott. Logan Hasley of Hope, cousin of the bride, served as candle lighter and usher with Brock Searcy of Hope and Marty Williams of Texarkana. Melanie McCorkle of Prescott greeted guests and attended the guest book at the church. The reception was held at the Prescott Country Club, where music was provided by Fred Davis. Servers were friends of the bride, Reagan Williams of Texarkana, Christy Stinson and Amanda Whitfield of Bismarck and Christy Sanders of Norman. The wedding party was treated to a rehearsal dinner hosted by Brenda Hines and Mr. and Mrs. Billy R. Hines at the Fish Nest in Prescott. The happy couple went on a short honeymoon to Galveston, Texas. They plan an extended honeymoon after the bride graduates from Henderson State University in December. They will live in Texarkana. SHOWERS Kelly was honored with a bridal shower given by her bridesmaids, Misti Harvey and Tina Ives at Central Baptist Church on August 6. She received many beautiful gifts from friends and family.
