School Menus: September 4-8, 2000Published Wednesday, August 30, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneMenus for the area schools for the week of September 4-8 are as follows. All meals are served with milk. They are also subject to change. Breakfast in Prescott Schools is served from 8:00 to 8:30 and lunch is served between 11:30 and 12:00. Prescott School District The McRae Middle School (MMS) and Prescott High School offer different bar selections for lunch. The bar selections are listed at the end of the lunch paragraphs. BREAKFAST MONDAY: Labor Day. TUESDAY: Power Alley, juice and milk. WEDNESDAY: Biscuit and bacon, juice and milk. THURSDAY: Breakfast crispitoes, juice and milk. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit, juice and milk. LUNCH MONDAY: Labor Day. TUESDAY: Pizza, tossed salad with dressing, apple slices with carmel sauce and cookie; MMS: salad bar, PHS: hamburger and fries bar. WEDNESDAY: Grilled ham and cheese, curly fries with catsup, orange and yogurt; MMS: potato bar, PHS: chicken patty bar. THURSDAY: Sloppy Joe on bun, French fries with catsup, strawberries and ice cream cup; MMS: hamburger bar, PHS: pizza bar. FRIDAY: Spaghetti, green beans, sliced peaches and hot roll; PHS: hamburger and fries bar. Emmet School District BREAKFAST MONDAY: Labor Day. TUESDAY: French toast stick with butter and syrup and juice. WEDNESDAY: Breakfast pizza and juice. THURSDAY: Ham, toast with jelly and juice. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit and juice. LUNCH MONDAY: Labor Day. TUESDAY: Chicken fried steak, corn on cob, apple slices and vanilla pudding. WEDNESDAY: Chicken strips, baked potato, biscuit, chocolate pudding and banana. THURSDAY: Hot wings, salad bar, grilled cheese sandwich, juice bar and peanut cup. FRIDAY: BLT or hamburger bar, French fries with catsup, grapes and chocolate pudding. Nevada School District BREAKFAST MONDAY: Labor Day. TUESDAY: Danish, apple juice and milk. WEDNESDAY: Breakfast pizza, orange juice and milk THURSDAY: Biscuit and sausage, juice and milk. FRIDAY: Super doughnut, pineapple juice and milk. LUNCH MONDAY: Labor Day. TUESDAY: Pizza, corn, tossed salad and bread sticks. WEDNESDAY: Barbecued chicken, potato salad, pinto beans and corn bread. THURSDAY: Steak fingers with gravy, potato wedges, pear halves and Texas toast. FRIDAY: Fish macaroni and cheese, Tator Tots, salad and hush puppies.
