Harrell H. Butler

Harrell H. Butler, 68, of Hope, died Tuesday, May 11, 1999, at his home.

Mr. Butler was born January 1, 1931, in Nevada County to Herman Franklin and Alta Cumie Fore Butler. He was a retired truck driver with over 37 years with Meyer's Bakery in Hope. Mr. Butler was a member of Unity Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during peace time.

Survivors include his wife, Nell Butler of Hope; threes sons, Richard Butler and Kelly Butler both of Allen, Texas, and Mike Butler of Donaldson; one daughter, Shelly Butler of Garland Texas; two brothers, Milton Butler of Pine Bluff and Derris 'Duck' Butler of Hope; one sister, Joyce Helm of Stuttgart; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were Thursday, May 13; at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. I.V. Hight officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery near Bodcaw under the direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope.
