Kimberly Dorothy Adams, 15, of Gurdon died Sunday, August 27, 2000.

She was a student at Gurdon High School, a member of the Student Council and Beta Club. She was an honor student and the Go-Devil Mascot. Miss Adams attended Oak Grove Assembly of God.

Survivors include her parents, Mark and Patricia Flavin Adams of Gurdon; a brother, Mark Anthony Adams of Gurdon; a sister, Kelly Nicole Adams of Gurdon; her grandparents, Dorothy Adams of Plain Dealing, La., and Virginia Flavin of Shreveport, La.; a niece, Kennedy Alexis Adams; and a nephew, Gavin Shane Smith, also of Gurdon.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 30, at 2:00 p.m. at Plain Dealing Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home in Gurdon and 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Wednesday at Bailey Mortuary in Plain Dealing, La.

Memorials made be made to Gurdon High School D.A.R.E. program. Arrangements are under the direction of Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.
