40th Anniversary Was September 27Published Wednesday, August 30, 2000 in the Gurdon TimesDean and Willie Jewell Ezell of Booneville will celebrate their 40th anniversary on Aug. 27 with a family trip to Branson, Mo. Married in 1960, Dean and Willie were wed by the late Rev. A.O. Wells in his home. Willie Jewel West-Ezell originally of Okolona, worked through the years in the home. While Dean, formerly of Gurdon, worked and retired from NorAm Gas Co. as an operation superintendent. The Ezells have two children, Gary Lee Ezell of Greenwood and Deana Gail Wise of Booneville; and six grandchildren, Gary Lee Jr. and Jon Ezell, Tabbitha and Meagan Wise, and Austin and Michael Lay.
