Golden OldiesBY DORIS VANCEPublished Wednesday, August 30, 2000 in the Gurdon Times Everyone should come to the senior center where it is nice and cool. There will be something to do for everyone. Our activity/volunteer director is doing a marvelous job. Last week we played bingo, had our monthly council meeting, music, a trip to the Hot Springs mall, and show and tell of our favorite photos. This week we will play bingo, have the monthly birthday party and play a I know a secret' game. Charlotte Shepherd visited the center twice this last week. We appreciate Charlotte very much. It is so hot and dry that we older adults have to watch and be careful not to get overheated. We have had some who use to come to the center who passed away last week.
