Twins Dominate At Gurdon PrimaryBY REBECCA S. COOPERPublished Wednesday, August 30, 2000 in the Gurdon Times With five sets of twins in the entire Gurdon Primary School, for four sets to end up in the same grade at the same time is unusual. Rita Roe, principal at GPS said, "I don't believe I've seen this many twins in the same grade before." Four sets containing Caleb and Ethan Jones sons of Bro. Rusty and Debbie Jones; Cody and Misty Prault, son and daughter of Laurie Bunnell; Trea and Trent Fonte, sons of Dedra Eckert; and Lindsey and Abbey Smith, daughters of Joey and Dawana Smith, all of Gurdon. As if this was not enough of an unusual event, what would the odds be for two sets of the four in the same grade to have the same birthday? According to Roe, Abbey and Lindsey Smith and Trent and Trea Fonte share the same March 18, 1991 birthday.
