Hicks, McGuire To Wed September 11Published Wednesday, September 8, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneDonald and Linda Sue Hicks of Prescott are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Yolanda Sue, to Nicky Lee McGuire. Mr. McGuire is the son of Don and Margie McGuire of Prescott. Grandparents of the bride-elect are Ruby Jewel Hicks of Hope and the late Hilton W. Hicks of Caney, Donald and Nellie Harden of Prescott, and the late Barham Cox of Prescott. Great grandparents of the bride are the late Monroe and Effie Hicks of Caney, Mark and Olevia Shelton, Marvin and Hathie Blevins and Jewel and George N. Cox, all of Prescott. Miss Hicks is a 1996 graduate of Prescott High School and is currently employed by the Nevada County Branch Bank of Delight. Grandparents of the prospective groom are the late Clifton and Wilma McGuire of Prescott; Lolaphryn Wilson of Delight; and the late Jack Wilson, also of Delight. He is a 1995 graduate of Prescott High School and is employed by the United States Postal Service at the Prescott Post Office. The couple will wed at Central Baptist Church on Saturday, September 11, at 4 p.m. Bro. Randy Cox of Conway (cousin of the bride) and Bro. Raymond Hicks of Caney (great uncle of the bride) will officiate the ceremony. All friends and family members are invited to attend. There will be a reception shortly after in the fellowship hall.
