School Menus: August 28 thru September 1Published Wednesday, August 23, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneMenus for the area schools for the week of August 28-September 1 are as follows. All meals are served with milk. They are also subject to change. Breakfast in Prescott Schools is served from 8:00 to 8:30 and lunch is served between 11:30 and 12:00. Prescott School District The McRae Middle School (MMS) and Prescott High School offer different bar selections for lunch. The bar selections are listed at the end of the lunch paragraphs. BREAKFAST MONDAY: Sausage roll, juice and milk. TUESDAY: Bacon and biscuit, juice and milk. WEDNESDAY: Pancakes with syrup, juice and milk. THURSDAY: Pizza, juice and milk. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit, juice and milk. LUNCH MONDAY: Tossed salad with dressing, apple and chocolate pudding; PHS: hamburger and fries bar. TUESDAY: Bologna and cheese sandwich, chips, baby carrots, apple and fruit roll-up; MMS: salad bar, PHS: pizza bar. WEDNESDAY: Hamburger on bun with lettuce, tomato and pickles, French fries with catsup and ice cream sandwich; MMS: hotdog bar, PHS: chicken patty bar. THURSDAY: Taco salad, Spanish rice, cantaloupe and Rice Krispies treat; MMS: hamburger bar, PHS: hamburger and fries bar. FRIDAY: Spaghetti, green beans, sliced peaches and hot roll; PHS: pizza bar. Emmet School District BREAKFAST MONDAY: Toast, ham slice, juice and milk. TUESDAY: French toast with jelly and juice. WEDNESDAY: Ham, toast with jelly and juice. THURSDAY: Breakfast pizza and juice. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit and juice. LUNCH MONDAY: Corndog with mustard, baked beans, French fries with catsup, no-bake chocolate cookie. TUESDAY: Hot ham and cheese sandwich or hamburger bar, nachos with cheese, turnip greens, cake square and peanut cup. WEDNESDAY: Fish sticks, tartar sauce, slaw, potato wedges with catsup, hush puppies and cherry cobbler. THURSDAY: Grilled chicken patty on bun with mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomato and pickles, corn and apple crisp. FRIDAY: Pizza, salad bar, applesauce, chocolate chip cookie and peanut cup.
