Free Connection Sign-Up Ends Soon For Water ProjectPublished Wednesday, August 23, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneFinal notice is being made to Waterloo/Bodcaw residents for free utility connections. If there are any households that have not already applied for free water hook-ups for the Bodcaw/Waterloo Water System final applications are being accepted for free water connections to the system. This will be the last chance to apply for free water hook-ups to the water system. To qualify for a free connection to the system your gross annual income, not including disability benefits, during the previous calendar year must fall within one of the following categories: a household of one: $19,450; two: $22,200; three: $25,000; four, $27,750; five: $30,000; six: $32,200; seven, $34,400; and a household of eight cannot make over $36,650 a year. Representatives will be available at the Bodcaw Community Center Monday, August 28, from 1 to 6 p.m. to accept applications. Families applying for a free connection should take the following items with you: proof of income such as check stubs, 1998 tax returns, copies of checks or bank statements for electronic deposits for all household occupants; property tax receipt indicating property ownership (if you own property); and if self-employed, copies of most recent prepared 1040 tax form to verify income.
