Area School Menus: Week of August 21-25Published Wednesday, August 16, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneMenus for the area schools for the week of August 21-25 are as follows. All meals are served with milk. They are also subject to change. Breakfast in Prescott Schools is served from 8:00 to 8:30 and lunch is served between 11:30 and 12:00. Prescott School District The McRae Middle School (MMS) and Prescott High School offer different bar selections for lunch. The bar selections are listed at the end of the lunch paragraphs. BREAKFAST MONDAY: Danish, juice and milk. TUESDAY: Bacon and biscuit, juice and milk. WEDNESDAY: Pizza, juice and milk. THURSDAY: Cereal, cinnamon toast, banana and milk. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit, juice and milk. LUNCH MONDAY: Ham and cheese sandwich, chips, pickle spear and fruit snack. TUESDAY: Bologna and cheese sandwich, chips, baby carrots, apple and fruit roll-up; MMS salad bar. WEDNESDAY: Turkey and cheese, chips, pickle spear, banana and Pokemon roll-up; MMS salad bar. THURSDAY: Ham and cheese sandwich, chips, baby carrots, apple sauce cup and Oreo cookies; MMS salad bar. FRIDAY: Bologna and cheese sandwich, chips, pickle spear, apple and yogurt; MMS salad bar. Emmet School District BREAKFAST MONDAY: Cheese toast, ham slice, juice and milk. TUESDAY: French toast with butter and jelly and juice. WEDNESDAY: Breakfast pizza and juice. THURSDAY: Cheese slice, doughnut and juice. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit and juice. LUNCH MONDAY: Cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion, spicy fries with catsup, pinto beans and fruited Jell-O. TUESDAY: Nachos with meat and cheese, lettuce wedge, grapes, trail mix and brownie. WEDNESDAY: Chicken nuggets with honey, sweet potatoes, pear half and bread slice. THURSDAY: Macaroni and cheese, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, green beans and juice bar. FRIDAY: Pizza, salad bar, pear half, peanut butter cookies and peanut cup. Nevada School District BREAKFAST MONDAY: Super doughnuts and orange juice. TUESDAY: Cinnamon toast and apple sauce. WEDNESDAY: Cereal and banana. THURSDAY: Biscuit and sausage and juice. FRIDAY: Danish and apple juice. LUNCH MONDAY: Burrito with chili and cheese, French fries and peach halves. TUESDAY: Pizza, corn, tossed salad and bread sticks. WEDNESDAY: Pork chops, creamed potatoes, green beans, cherry cobbler and rolls. THURSDAY: Surprise grab and go day.
