Last week's news:

Larry and Janey Morrow have two sons who read the news off the Internet. Chris is in San Diego and Jeff is in Germany. Hello, boys.

Billy Martin and grandson Cory took a trip to Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado and Mississippi. They came back through the northern part of Arkansas.

Caretaker of the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Debbie Hill, is doing a fantastic job. Finishing the fence is the next project.

Lonnie and Julie Huntley has moved to Little Rock, a little closer to their jobs.

Fair Hill Rural Fire Department is still in progress. They are doing the still farming project now. It is about halfway done.

Flossie Martin attended the wedding of her granddaughter, Dr. Kristi Martin Hawkin, July 22.

Dakota Ridling had a birthday party Saturday. He turned four years old. Hot dogs and a cake in the shape of a John Deere tractor was served. About 25 folks helped him celebrate.

Dillon Ridling has been visiting with his Dad, Greg, and grandmother, Cathy, this past week. He had to get back to Texas, where he lives to start to school Thursday.

This week's news:

Jimmy and Julie Taylor from Lonoke visited Ruth Thompson, David and Patricia Kirkham Saturday afternoon.

Pauline Graham Bishop was buried Friday at Missionary Grove Cemetery. She had relatives in our area.

Maddlean Marlar passed away Sunday. Funeral services were Tuesday. Our prayers and condolences are with them.

Saturday night Angie and Maggie Hopkins and Connie Peters fixed birthday dinner for their mother, Patricia Kirkham, at Angela and Ricky Hopkins' home.

Someone in our community had a birthday Monday. Age will not be mentioned, but the candidate is Jack Cornelius. Happy birthday, Jack.
