William H. Carlton of Houston came for a visit with his brothers and sisters as they have all been on the ailing listMarie Tye, Johnnie, Harlin, Charles, Venita and all the others of the clan and also Norvelle's sister, Dorothy Chapman and Truett Waters. He did a lot of visiting.

Butch and Pat Wilbanks of Little Rock spent Friday night with parents, J.D. and Marie Allen. They helped them celebrate their 61st wedding anniversary. They wanted to take them out to eat and ended up eating some of mom's cooking. Way to go.

Alvin Butler was ailing last week. Todd took him to the doctor and he is to go to Little Rock for some tests next week. Peggy Butler came home to spend a few days with Dad.

Our revival was going on last week with Bro. George Redding as the evangelist. Good services and some were saved and added to the the church.

Phyllis Butler came home on Sunday for funeral services for Peggy Butler's mom, Kenetha Bonds.

Services are pending on Monday at 2 p.m. for Morris Poindexter. Services and burial will be at Bodcaw No. 1.

Mary Ann Dorman had dental surgery last week. Hope she is improving nicely.

Bro. Mark Faulkner preached both services on Sunday. Bro. Tom was on the sick list. Hope he will soon be fine again.

It is time for school to start again. Watch out for the kids.
