Johnnie Lee McDonaldSHACKELFORD FUNERAL HOME of PRESCOTTPublished Wednesday, August 16, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune Johnnie Lee McDonald, 90, of Hope died Thursday, August 10, 2000, at Medical Park Hospital at Hope. Mr. McDonald was born December 12, 1909, in Junction City to B.F. McDonald and Aubie Ursery McDonald. He was a retired Pentecostal minister and president of a leather company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn, in 1997. Survivors include one daughter, Martha Burnette of Hope; four grandchildren, Rev. Steve Young of San Jose, Costa Rica, Lisa Hackney of Garland City, Texas, Charles Burnette of Hope and Russell Barnett of Prescott; nine great grandchildren; six nephews; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Saturday, August 12, at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Young officiating.
