Lera Mae MartinBRAZZEL / CORNISH FUNERAL HOME of PRESCOTTPublished Wednesday, August 16, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune Lera Mae Martin, 67, of Hope formerly of Prescott, died Sunday, August 6, 2000, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. Mrs. Martin was born June 9, 1931, in Rosston to Lee and Effie Martin Ammons. She was a housewife and a Baptist. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Martin Sr., and one son, Randy Carroll Martin, and one brother, John Lee Ammons. Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Johnny Martin Jr., and Jimmy and Lisa Martin all of Prescott; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lera and Dan Pedrizzetti of San Nella, Calif., and Martha and Charles Hair of Hope; one brother, Jimmie Ammons of Atlanta, Texas; one sister, Mary Ellen Ammons of Keithville, La.; a special friend, Marlin Beck of Buckner; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday, August 10, at Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott with Rev. Ricky Burke officiating.
