Purple And Gold Game Is FridayPublished Wednesday, August 16, 2000 in the Gurdon TimesThe annual Purple and Gold Game will be Friday, Aug. 18, at 7:00 p.m. at Go-Devil Stadium. This is an opportunity to see the 2000 Go-Devils in action. Coach John Pace said they have been working very hard, practicing twice a day in this hot weather to get ready for the 2000 season, which begins in two weeks. Both the junior and senior Go-Devils will take the field Friday night. The junior Go-Devils will kick off their season, hosting Junction City Tuesday, Aug. 29, at 7:00 p.m. The senior Go-Devils will host Fouke Friday, Sept. 1, at 7:30 p.m. Admission for the Purple and Gold game will be $2 per person.
