Requirements For Meal Set By CenterPublished Wednesday, August 16, 2000 in the Gurdon TimesCentral Arkansas Development Council announced recently its sponsorship of the child and adult care food program. Gurdon Head Start has released its scale requirements for free and reduced meals for the following school year. Examples are as follows: For three persons in a household to receive free meals the annual income must be at or below $18,395, $1,533 per month, or $354 per week. The same number of family members can get reduced meals if their annual income does not exceed $26,178 annually or $504 per week. For four persons in a household to receive free meals, the annual income must not exceed $22,165, $1,848 per month, or $427 per week. The same number of family members can get reduced meals if their annul incomes is at $31,543 or $607 weekly.
