The Clark County Adult Education program offers a wide variety of services and a schedule designed for your convenience right here in Gurdon.

Whether you want to brush up on your computer skills, earn your G.E.D., learn English as a second language or improve your chances for a better job, the group will help you.

Clark County Adult Education is located at 107 North Third Street, across from the Sonic Drive-in. You can reach the organization at 353-4555 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and evenings from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday as well as from 6:00 to 8:00 Thursday evenings for E.S.L. students.

Newspaper articles have been contributed to the Prescott Community Freenet Association as a "current history" of our area. Articles dated December 1981 through May 2001 were contributed by Ragsdale Printing Company, Inc. Articles June 2001 to ? were contributed by Better Built Group, Inc. Articles ? to October 2008 were contributed by GateHouse Media.

Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
