Golden OldiesBY DORIS VANCEPublished Wednesday, August 9, 2000 in the Gurdon Times Hope everyone has been surviving this terrible heat. It is almost unbearable. This week, Aug. 7-11 will be Nutrition Week with Dr. Barbara Holt visiting the center. Everyone enjoyed the square dancers last Friday. We Cover Girls are still quilting. We have several quilts to do after we finish the one we are on. Kathy Loden will be offering blood pressure tests Aug. 15. Area Agency on Aging will provide blood pressure tests Friday, Aug. 18. We still extend an invitation for you to come to enjoy the center with us. There are still some senior citizens out who are not able to attend as yet.
