Kelli McKinnon Atends AJSA CompetitionPublished Wednesday, August 9, 2000 in the Gurdon TimesKelli McKinnon of Gurdon placed among the leaders at the American Junior Simmental Association (AJSA) South Central Regional Classic held June 15, 16 and 17 in Shreveport, La. In competition with over 100 AJSA members from eight south central states McKinnon captured tenth place in the senior division overall competition. She ranked second in the herdsman quiz, fifth in public speaking, placed seventh in sales talk and finished eighth in showmanship.
